The product captures insights for small businesses on ad placements within local Gannett owned newspapers. The platform was an ad creation/generation arena for business owners to utilize without the need of going to agencies for creative or to purchase software for ad tracking. It kept everything in one place.

The initiative was created within a six month period with a team of three designers, two product mangers and three engineers creating for scale across web and mobile platforms.

The work began with significant market research. The design and product teams spent time in local markets interviewing small business owners about their needs.

The experience included functionality that allowed for the business owners to create custom advertising solutions that fit parameters of the local new digital market and manage their effectiveness through a campaign tracker.

This was based off of information gathered that allowed the Gannett team to see where business pain points were and provide opportunities through a product solution that Gannett then started to license.
